TSC DTG Reppo GE E60CP Mod Pack

This is the Amtrak & NJ Transit GE E60CP Sound & Physics Modification pack version 1.0 (12/8/22)

In order to utilize this freeware physics upgrade, you must have purchased the "Train Simulator: E60 Electric Locomotive Add-On" pack available at Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2202020/Train_Simulator_E60_Electric_Locomotive_AddOn/

This is a freeware pack; in no way is it to be used for commercial purposes. You are free, however to further modify the physics enhancements found in this pack for personal use if you so choose.

The purpose of this pack is to adjust the traction characteristics values for more realistic operation. It also includes optional freight gearing. This pack also modifies the behavior of the dual ammeter gauges located on the roofline of the cab.

Sound updates also included for the Amfleets & traction motors among other things.

Technical specifications for the Passenger E60 (68:38 gearing):

a. Starting tractive effort of 75,000 lbs

b. Dynamic Brake effort of 35,000 lbs @ 60 mph w/ extended range sawtooth

c. Maximum speed of 120 mph

d. Weight = 387,000 lbs

Technical specifications for the Freight E60 (83:20 gearing):

a. Starting tractive effort of 117,000 lbs

d. Dynamic Brake effort of 55,000 lbs @ 30 mph w/ extended range sawtooth

f. Maximum speed of 68 mph

g. Weight = 426,000 lbs

IMPORTANT; Install Instructions

1. Locate E60CP (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\Reppo\E60CP)

2. Open TSC_DTG_Reppo_GE_E60CP_Mod_Pack.zip

3. Drag the file folders from the .rar in step 2 into the directory you opened in step 1.

4. The installation should be complete. Run TSC to check.

5. If installation is botched or does not work, to back up to original files, delete the folders from step 3.

User manual:

Locomotive uses passenger physics by default. To access the freight geared locomotives, you must create a consist in quick drive or drop the "(freight)" locomotives into a scenario in scenario editor. Gearbox growl correctly scaled for both gearsets.
